Every year, in excess of 100 million animals—including mice, rodents, frogs, hounds, felines, bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and fowls—are murdered in U.S. research facilities for researches, clinical practices, experimentation, and compound, medication, nourishment, and beautifying agents testing. Before their demises, some are compelled to breathe in the poisonous gas, others are immobilized in gadgets for hours, some have instruments penetrated into their skulls, and others have their skin consumed off or their spinal lines squashed. Notwithstanding the torment of the genuine examinations, creatures in research facilities are denied everything that is characteristic and imperative to them—they are restricted to cages, socially separated, and mentally damaged.
